Chimayo
The village of Chimayo, about thirty minutes north of Santa Fe is the start of the “High Road to Taos” and is believed by many to be the site of miraculous healings. Pilgrims still travel to the Santuario de Chimayó, originally built in 1816, some seeking healing and some simply enjoying the beauty of the surroundings.
